Thai political unrest keeps tourists away – 21 April 2009
The continuing political instability in Thailand is hurting the country’s economy, which relies heavily on tourism dollars.
The crucial industry makes up five per cent of GDP and employs some two million Thais, but officials are expecting four million fewer tourists this year.

What is the difference between corruption and tyranny?
I’m doing a paper for school, and I want to pick a topic having to do with political corruption. I’ve been researching, and honestly, I don’t really understand what each term means. Is there a difference? Would a corrupt country such as Somalia be experiencing both corruption AND tyranny?
Tyranny usually comes from corruption. The government get corrupt and then becomes a tyrannical power. Corruption is a state of being corrupt while Tyranny is a way you govern.
How does the military keep us from tyranny and oppression?
How do service men and women help to stop us from suffering tyranny and oppression?
The military can’t protect us from tyranny within our borders forced on us by the politically correct. For instance, here in CA, gays can marry despite the fact that the vast majority of people oppose this in favor of civil unions.
The military CAN protect us from domination from outside the US. We sometimes take this for granted. Ask Georgians how they feel about tyranny and opression.
I need help defending police officers and brutality cases?
I am trying to find information on police officers getting disrepcted/ or recieving less respect due to police brutality cases. Any idea where I can find journals, articles, reports on this?
I know that police brutality is a serious case that society has responsed to, but at the same time, police are also generalized as "evil, injustice pigs" which isnt entirely true. Any suggestions or link would be aprreciated.
