I need help defending police officers and brutality cases?

I am trying to find information on police officers getting disrepcted/ or recieving less respect due to Police Brutality cases. Any idea where I can find journals, articles, reports on this?

I know that police brutality is a serious case that society has responsed to, but at the same time, police are also generalized as "evil, injustice pigs" which isnt entirely true. Any suggestions or link would be aprreciated.

Police keep escalating the violence.

One might think that citizens would learn to keep their heads down and stop causing trouble, but they appear to be slow learners.
